The first podcast was recorded in a live studio in Kansas City Missouri at the 1739 Gallery. A place with arts, music, dance and community and mixed drinks. We chose this location as an evening social gathering ahead of a Toxic Tour on April 13. <\/span><\/p>

In this podcast your host: Beto Lugo Martinez invited Elizabeth Friedman MD MPH & Atentas Mena RN MBA to have an informal interview with our guests, the one and only Ms.Margaret from West Oakland Environmental Project Indicators, followed by Harold Mitchell a member of the White House Environmntal Justice Advisory Council. <\/span><\/p>

My friend and colleage Katherine Catalano who leads the American Public Health Association Climate Health and Equity, was also interviewed and with her talent also sang acapella to the crowd who sang along. <\/span><\/p>

Finally, Athena Mothavef with Earthjustice was interviewed and discsuss her role at an organization whose tagline is Lawyers for the Earth. All in all it was a fun evening of informal questions and laughter. <\/span><\/p>

Based in Kansas City, MO, Beto is dedicated to amplifying community voices in the fight against environmental racism and addressing the systemic exclusion of frontline communities in decision-making processes.
